Biographical InformationBob’s interest in photography was initially spurred while working for Kodak right after college. The interest lay dormant as Bob pursued his career in high technology until he took a European work assignment for Hewlett Packard in the mid 1980’s. While living there photography became a serious hobby as Bob documented family travel and their cultural experiences. Extended family and friends with whom Bob shared his work were delighted and encouraged him to do more. The digital photography revolution played well into Bob’s high tech background which further inspired him to advance his photographic and post-processing skills. Bob initially focused his photography on nature and wildlife due to his love for our national and state parks and the challenge to capture images that others can enjoy. More recently his subject matter has broadened to include 'atheletes in action', and a category he calls 'people, places and things' which can include anything including old cars, cityscapes, building details, interesting people, and more. Bob produces digital artwork in many forms, but all originate from photographic images. Bob lives with his wife and dog in the Rocky Mountains near Dillon, Colorado.
